Disney and Pixar have scored yet another big hit in a very long line of animation movies. The Incredibles 2 returned to theaters on the third weekend in June, breaking the record for the highest grossing animated movie on opening weekend. Incredibles 2 racked up an impressive $180 million, which was the third best movie opening for the year. The top two grossing movies were part of another Disney franchise, Marvel studios. Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther respectively took the number one and two slots.
Incredibles 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Incredibles which was released 14 years ago. The movie picks up where the last one ended. Incredibles is now available on Blu-Ray, so now is an excellent time to catch up on the original before watching the second movie. Buckle in and enjoy the show!
